Bilbao Pride 2025 / Poster

Instructions from the Bilbao Bizkaia Harro Association:

Create a poster that reinforces the identity of Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO and links it to the values and cultural identity of the Basque Country.

Diversity in terms of gender, sexual orientation, origin and culture, functional diversity, age, social class, physical appearance, etc., will be valued, while avoiding stereotypes.

My interpretation:

Two people form the hills surrounding Bilbao. These figures represent two major themes: unfiltered love and connection with the Earth. They express queer love and connection with the Basque Country.

The colors reinforce this message: green recalls the hills and the earth, and purple is an inclusive and encouraging color, widely used in feminist movements.
